Why does the distance to stores sometimes not match the distance when I use maps?
Due to certain limitations, we sometimes have to use basic calculations between two geolocations to display distances. These tend to represent straight lines rather than actual driving routes.
Sometimes, when I first load the app, it shows my location as downtown Portland. Why?
The app defaults to a location in downtown Portland if location services aren’t enabled. To get accurate results based on your actual location, please ensure your location services are turned on.
Where is my favorite spirit?
Our app displays inventory that’s currently available in stores. Occasionally, a particular bottle may be sold out at the OLCC. If you’re interested in seeing sold out bottles, we’d love to hear from you! Please contact us below!
The store search seems “funky,” how should I search?
You can search using store name, zip code, street address, or city. Our search function is “fuzzy”, which means it tries to match all words, letters, and numbers, even if there are spelling mistakes (which we know can happen, especially on mobile!). This can sometimes lead to unexpected results. But remember, the more precise you are with your input, the better the results will be.
